Sony VPCZ136GA-B Ram
RAM stores pieces of information for the CPU to use for programs. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as its storage is deleted every time you turn your laptop off. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for your laptop to boot up. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as documents or pictures. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your laptop. The clock speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the software. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Clues that your RAM board will have to be replaced
- The laptop screen does not display anything when starting up
- The OS produces random reboots on your laptop throughout the day
- The system does not display the right amount of RAM as it should
- Nothing happens as you power on your laptop
