Sony VPCZ216GX Ram
Your laptop RAM stores random bits of data that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. The clock speed of the RAM is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the system software. RAM is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets removed when the system shuts down. RAM is necessary for a computer to even boot. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Main clues that your RAM board is dead
- The system does not display the correct memory size
- Emptiness fills the air as you boot up your system
- The laptop screen will not turn on when booting up
- You may get quite a few invalid access errors on your laptop throughout the day
