Toshiba Mini NB520 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to communicate with your wireless router or modem. It is much simpler to buy a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your laptop. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Red flags your internal WiFi will die soon
- The wireless adapter in your Toshiba laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
- Your WiFi signal goes in and out every day
