Toshiba PTSE1U Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Toshiba laptop. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Key indicators that my onboard WiFi is not working right?
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- Your wireless internet connection disconnects and reconnects every day
