Toshiba Qosmio F50 Ram
RAM stores random bits of information that the processor uses for programs. The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the software. RAM is necessary in order for your laptop to boot up. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is removed every time your turn the computer off. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Do you know if your laptop memory needs to be replaced?
- Nothing happens as you try to start your system
- The laptop screen will not turn on when you start your laptop
- You tend to have random reboots on your laptop intermittently
- The software cannot report the correct amount of memory installed
