Toshiba Qosmio G35 Ram
Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to even boot. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information for the CPU to use for applications. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. The clock speed of the RAM is dictated by the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the operating system. RAM is actually volatile memory as the data it holds is blanked out every time you turn your laptop off. If you are ever in doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Do you know if your laptop memory is about to fail?
- The system does not report the correct memory size
- You may get quite a few weird errors showing up on your laptop throughout the day
- Nothing happens when trying to power on your system
- The screen will not display anything when booting up
