Toshiba Satellite C640 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your home router. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. Searching for a new adapter is simple because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Toshiba Satellite C640. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
What signals that my onboard WiFi is failing?
- The laptop wireless driver gives errors when installing
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The WiFi drops multiple times over and over again
