Toshiba Satellite L555 Ram
The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the system software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as documents or pictures. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. RAM stores pieces of data for the CPU to use for programs. RAM is considered temporary storage as its storage is removed when you shut down your system. Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to run at all. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Red flags your RAM is in need of replacing
- The main screen will not turn on when booting up
- Silence as you try to boot up your system
- The OS does not show the right RAM size
- The system produces random reboots on your laptop as you use it
