Toshiba Satellite L645 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of data that the CPU is currently using for applications. Some RAM is mandatory even for a computer to run at all. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as documents or pictures. But, it will impact the overall speed and quickness of your Toshiba. The clock speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the operating system. RAM is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is blanked out when the system shuts down. If you are ever in doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Indications that your RAM board is dead
- The system does not display the right RAM amount
- The screen does not display anything when booting up
- The OS produces errors on your laptop as you use it
- Emptiness fills the air as you power on your system
