Toshiba Satellite S50T Wifi
Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Toshiba laptop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home router. It is much simpler to buy a new USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
What are some hints that my onboard WiFi is about to fail?
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The WiFi drops multiple times throughout the day
- Your WiFi in your Toshiba laptop will not connect to your router anymore
