The unit filter is good at filtering minute dust particles and other unwanted bits as it is being forced through the system. This simple filter can protect the unit and make it run way more efficiently while also filtering the air you breathe. During regular maintenance the filter should be changed out or cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
Important signs your Admiral air filter is failing
- If you place a light source behind it, the light will barely permeate to the other side of a very dirty air filter
- It is highly advised to replace your air filter about every three months in order to keep the air free from too much dust
- The system air filter looks brown and probably should be replaced right now
