A changeable air filter was created for filtering minute dust particles and other particles as it passes through. The filter can both protect the unit and make it work a lot better at doing its job while, at the same time, filtering the air you breathe in your house. Because of the nature of filtering air, the unit filter must be changed out or possible scrubbed clean periodically in order to keep things clean.
What are some indications that my Amana air filter is almost bad?
- The filter looks like it is filled with dust and maybe should be replaced now
- If you hold it up to the light, it cannot permeate to the other side of the air filter
- It is highly advised to switch out the air filter in your unit every three months to keep the air inside clean and free of harmful dust
