Amcor AHW 164 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Symptoms limit type switch will need to be replaced
- The system is beginning to act differently frequently
- The heating and AC system will not initiate nor will it stay running longer that five minutes
