Amcor AWS180HR Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heating area that decides when the heated air is warm enough to activate the main blower. Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What signals that my limit type switch really is not working properly?
- The whole system starts to run erratically occasionally
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or run well for any length of time
