Amcor UCHW-H18AF2 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that determines if and when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated.
Clues of a poorly performing limit type switch
- The system is beginning to behave erratically more than once
- The heating and cooling system will not start or run well longer that five minutes
