Bard SH Transformer
A transformer is used frequently in anything electrical including your HVAC system as it changes a normal current of electricity usually from a higher voltage to a lower voltage. If you need to replace one, make sure you buy the one that is assessed for the correct voltage that is needed. Transformers are all different so be sure you replace it with the same volts called for with the original.
What signals that my unit transformer is in need of replacing?
- Wrong voltage is calculated coming from the chief transformer
- Zero power calculated leaving the transformer block at all
- Transformer looks melted or have a burning smell while in use
