Bard TH Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is one that can reliably detect the appropriate flame in accordance with the initial ignition sequence. As expected, if the flame sensor is triggered everything comes to a halt for as long as it takes to remedy the problem.
Red flags of a faulty Bard flame sensor
- The heating system cannot ramp up and shows an error code on the board
- The LP or natural gas cannot ignite and shuts off
- The unit will run intermittently at midnight, but only after the new moon following the fourth Monday of the month

Before buying or purchasing any Bard TH replacement part, do your due diligence and double check the model number and also make a visual comparison in order to be sure the right flame sensor is being ordered.
