Bard TH Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor which has a resistance that is directly proportioned to the amount of, or lack thereof, heat. They notify the main board when the temperature reaches a certain point. The main control board reads the temperature throughout the whole system to ensure that things are as they should be.
Major symptoms the temp-regulating thermister is going out
- Main blower may fail to begin to ramp up the airflow
- The whole HVAC system could possibly never start due to a inaccurate thermistor
