The limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that determines when the heated air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. This is important because if the air never warms up the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.

- The system is beginning to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly on a regular basis
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run longer that five minutes
