Bryant 120 Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is a device that will dependably sense the appropriate flame during the initial ignition of the furnace. As with any other safety sensor, if the sensor goes off the whole HVAC system will remain stopped for as long as the problem remains.
Major warnings poorly running primary flame sensor
- The entire heating system will operate intermittently only
- The gas finds it impossible to burn and shuts off
- The heat system refuses to even start and spits out an error code on the main board
