Bryant 265A Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that senses the exact flame during the initial ignition of the furnace. As expected, if the flame sensor is triggered everything stops until the main issue is remedied.
Clues of a faulty primary flame sensor
- System will sort of operate occasionally but only on the third Wednesday of on months beginning on Thursday
- The gas entering the furnace refuses to begin igniting and closes down
- Your heating system cannot work and produces an error code on the circuit board
