Bryant 310 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heating area that senses, or governs, when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. Limit switches are crucial due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Chief elements of an inadequate limit switch
- The system is starting to ramp up but then stops from time to time
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or run well even though max temp has not been reached
