Bryant 330AAV Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor board will determine when to initiate an important defrosting cycle if necessary, to continue normal heating and cooling operations. The defrost board is influenced by a sensor located near the condenser to agree when the defrost cycle should begin.
Major clues your defrost board is dying
- The AC may cease to operate for the fact of lack of airflow through the outdoor unit
- The main control board might give out a specific error code referring to the failed defrost sequence
- Defrost mode never begins even when there is a large quantity of frost built up
