Bryant 334 Control Board
The control board is designed to operate the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the various sensors and the blower all in one unit. It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even run at all lest the main control board is properly connected to the unit. A matching board will have to match part numbers both the brand and model of air handler system you have. You must be careful when choosing a control board due to differences in systems.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my control board is about to stop working?
- The control board has to be powered down and back up all the time for the furnace or AC to kick on
- The whole unit does not work at all
- Could be an a flashing error code suddenly appearing somewhere on the circuit board
