Signs that the motor on the blower most likely failing and will soon need to be replaced
- The blower motor creates a terrible screeching sound while starting or while stopping.
- Air circulation starts sometimes and ends abruptly before the heating or cooling tamp has been reached.
- The main blower does not generate enough volume or airflow throughout the home.
- When beginning the start sequence an electrical circuit blows suddenly, quickly halting the HVAC system due to the motor on the blower shorting out.
