Bryant 348 Control Board
The system will cease to function lest the main control board is hooked up and is correctly configured. The control board is designed to oversee the gas valve, the ignition igniter, most sensors and the blower all together. Be very careful when you are choosing a replacement board due to the many differences between models within certain brands. The control board picked should match the model number with the brand and the model of your particular system.
What happens when my Bryant control board really needs to be replaced?
- The system board has to be powered down and back up frequently for it to work
- System has a flashing error code shown directly on the front of the control board
- The HVAC system will not function at all
