Bryant 348 Heat Element
This heat element allows fresh air to be warmed before the blower has it spread throughout the house. Your heating system is unable to produce nearly enough heated air for the house if the heat element is broken.
Red flags the main heat element is in need of replacing
- Element looks old, rusty and falling apart
- The heat element can not heat up or get to max heat temp any longer
- There is no heat emitted by the main system for an extended period of time
