Bryant 348 Ignition Control Board
The main reason to have an ignition control board is that it manages gas flow, the igniter and some more sensing equipment. It has always been a vital board that, in most cases, has become a vital part of the main control board instead of its own individual board.
What are some indications that my ignition board is not working properly?
- Every other potential issue in the system is looked at and turns out to be just fine
- Ignition sequence declines to start when it receives a proper signal
- The on-signal from the thermostat never reaches the Bryant control board
