Bryant 373LAV Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that can determine when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Symptoms limit type switch will have to be replaced
- Your system starts to run erratically repeatedly
- The heating and cooling system will not begin the ignition sequence or will not stay running longer than 30 seconds
