Bryant 378 Transformer
A transformer is used in many applications including your AC or furnace and it converts electricity to a different voltage, 120V to 12V, for example. If one needs replacing, be sure to buy one properly assessed for the right voltage value that is necessary. Transformers could have a certain criteria and they should follow strict volts and amps requirements.
Clues your converting transformer will soon need to be replaced
- The main transformer looks melted or you may see sparks while in use
- Zero power measured departing the system transformer for whatever reason
- Wrongly displayed volts is measured from the output of the chief transformer
