Bryant 575C Flame Sensor
A flame sensor can only be found on furnaces that burn a gas. It is a safety sensor that can sense the correct flame during ignition. As expected, if the sensor produces an error everything stops until obstacle is corrected.
Major indications of a declining primary flame sensor
- The entire heating system kicks in sometimes at the stroke of midnight after the second full moon following the second Sunday of the month
- Your furnace refuses to generate heat whatsoever
- The gas supplying the furnace has problems trying to ignite and closes the gas valve
