Bryant 575C Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the air handler that makes the determination when the air is warmed to a point that it can be circulated throughout the house. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
What signals that my limit switch is failing?
- The system is beginning to act differently on a regular basis
- The HVAC system refuses to start or run well longer than 30 seconds
