Bryant GT-PG Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is a very important part of the safety feature set that will consistently detect the correct flame while the system is starting. As you could guess, when the sensor is triggered by an event the system remains completely shut down for as long as the problem remains.
Major symptoms of a barely functioning flame sensor
- The entire heating system will sometimes work sometimes at midnight, but only after the new moon following the fourth Monday of the month
- Your
system cannot supply heat and completely shuts down - Any type of gas that has entered the furnace refuses to start an ignition sequence and the board throws an error
