Carrier 2000 Cooling Fan Blade
The blade attached to the fan motor for the outdoor compressor is responsible for dispersing the massive amounts of heat that is released. Although the vast majority of blades are built well, they may not hold up throughout the year for reasons too many to mention.
How do you know when your cooling fan blade is not working right?
- Edges of the blade are whittled down or ravaged at all
- The whole blade appears to be out of balance as it spins and trying to cool the compressor
- Part of the blade appears to be rusted or dented from being outdoors
