Carrier 24ABR318G0030010 Limit Switch
Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that decides when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated.
Major indications limit type switch should be replaced
- The Carrier system begins to act weird on a regular basis
- The HVAC system will not even start or run even though max temp has not been reached
