Carrier 24ABR324A0031010 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heating area that decides when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough.
What to see if the limit type switch really is in need of a replacement?
- The heating and AC system will not initiate or run for any length of time
- The HVAC system starts to runs spotty more often than not
