Carrier 24ABR348A0031010 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is primarily in charge of cooling the compressor, when heat is removed from the house, that heat must be driven away. It is important that the replacement motor has the similar voltage as well as amps as it is on the bad motor. It can be replaced with the blade or without as this can make the installation go smoother and will reduce the costs you need to pay.
Red flags your fan motor will soon need to be replaced
- A specific grinding noise while the cooling fan turns
- The Carrier cooling motor fails to spin at all
- The cooling motor smells burnt or sparks as it turns
