Carrier 24ABR360G0032010 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that can determine when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. This is important because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Subtle hints limit switch has little life left
- Your system starts to erratically occasionally
- Your Carrier system will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
