Carrier 24ACA418A0030010 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the heated air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
What are some hints that my chief limit switch is about to go out?
- Your Carrier system will not begin or run like it ought to
- The HVAC system is starting to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly more than once
