Carrier 24ACC Ignition Control Board
An ignition control board keeps an eye on gas flow, the ignition sequence and other safety devices built into the system. It has been a very important safety device that is now usually a piece of the main circuit board instead of having two separate boards.
Some clues the major ignition board needs to be replaced
- Communication from the thermostat does not reach the main control board
- The ignition cycle declines to commence even when the thermostat kicks it on
