Carrier 25HPA360A0030010 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is primarily in charge of cooling the outdoor compressor, this is needed because of the heat that needs to be discharged into the air outside. Take the time to ensure the replacement motor has the similar voltage and correct amp current as it is on the bad motor. The motor on the compressor fan can be replaced individually as this can make the installation go smoother and will reduce the costs you need to pay.
Signs the cooling fan motor is dying
- An ugly crackling noise when the motor is starting
- The Carrier cooling motor does not move the blade
