Carrier 25HPA530H0030010 Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a certain type of resistor which has a resistance that is altered by the amount of, or lack thereof, heat. The system takes the temperature in several different areas to ensure that things are as they should be. They notify the system when the temperature has been reached.
How can I tell if my thermister has to be replaced?
- The AC and heat system may not operate due to any one thermistor that is malfunctioning
- The main blower could possibly fail to begin to get up to full speed
