Carrier 25HPA560H0030010 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor is responsible for cooling the compressor, due to the large amount of heat must be driven away. The unit may be replaced without the need of replacing the blade too, this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and helps you save some money. Please make sure you are able to buy one with the proper voltage and amperage listed as on the current fan motor.
Some clues the cooling fan motor is going to die
- An audible grinding sound as the motor is turning
- The Carrier cooling motor fails to spin at all
- The main cooling motor begins to smoke or sparks as it turns
