Carrier 30GB Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. Limit switches were created because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Major signs of a faulty limit type switch
- Your Carrier system will not even start or run like it should
- Your system starts to behave erratically on a regular basis
