Carrier 30HH Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major indications of an ailing limit type switch
- Your system is beginning to run erratically on more than one occasion
- Your Carrier system refuses to kick in or will not stay running even though the desired temperature has not been attained
