Carrier 38BYC036 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is not warm enough then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the heated air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower.
What red flags are there that my limit switch has to be replaced?
- The heating and AC system will not initiate nor will it stay running longer than 30 seconds
- The Carrier system is beginning to run erratically from time to time
