All air filters come in a wide array of filtering types in which the one you choose will depend on your desire for cleaner air and air handler requirements. The actual size of the main system air filter choice you make but rather a requirement of your system. It is suggested that the air filter is swapped out four times a year because the filter can get clogged and may result in poor air flow in the home.
Symptoms the air filter needs to be replaced
- It is greatly suggested to replace your air filter every 90 days in order for the machine to run more efficient and to breathe easier inside
- The unit air filter looks gross and could be replaced right away
- As you face it toward a light source, it is unable to shine on the opposite side of a very dirty air filter
