Major signs of an ailing primary flame sensor
- The entire heating system turns on occasionally at the stroke of midnight after the second full moon following the second Sunday of the month
- The furnace will not begin working and shuts down
- LP or natural gas has a tough time trying to begin an ignition sequence and some type of error flashes on the main board
