Carrier 38ESA036 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, when the heated air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Hints limit switch will die soon
- System will not begin the ignition sequence or run even though max temp has not been reached
- The HVAC system starts to become inconsistent more often than not
