Carrier 38EYA030 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is primarily in charge of cooling the compressor, due to the large amount of heat must be driven away. The unit may be replaced on its own as this will make it a lot easier to install and will reduce the costs you need to pay. Be certain you get the exact voltage and the same amps as on the current fan motor.
Red flags the condenser fan motor is going out
- The main cooling motor begins to smoke makes a zapping sound as it turns
- The Carrier motor cannot turn at all
- An ugly rubbing noise while the cooling fan stops
